Welcome to the first issue of Platonic!

The idea for this newsletter came about during a combined MSc and CPD module entitled 'Supporting Virtual Communities' at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Over the course of 4 weeks, the cohort were immersed in a unique experience of observing how to run an online module; build a community; take part in an online debate; and design a discussion based activity for a group of students. One of the cohort suggested a great way to keep the community going would be to set up a newsletter focused on Learning and Technology. Our goal is to share articles and links we have found useful during the past week. We hope you do too!
